On My Sticks…

I had hoped to get the sleeves done this weekend.  Life had its own plans however.  They are almost done.  Thankfully.

The White Masai just didn’t hold my attention.  Good I suppose, but not my thing (or maybe not my style).

So, instead I am reading V is for Vengeance by Sue Grafton (lovingly lent to me by my Momsy).  Easy, predictable.  I have a pile of books sitting on my night table that require a going through to figure out my next read.  Almost too many choices.  I really need a captivating read.

Linking up with Ginny.

That is one great looking sweater you are working on. Thanks for the book review as I have that book in my cart, I think I’ll just wait awhile, maybe picking up a copy from the library.

I so know what you mean about the captivating read–and they don’t come along all that often. But sometimes the predictable is just simply OK. (I’m in the third of the unending Amelia Peabody mystery series–most definitely NOT captivating–very predictable–but still sort of entertaining……for awhile!!!!) My most recent captivating read was Time in Between. Loved that book!!!

I understand your search for a captivating read. I often will have large overdue fines because I vacillate between books. It might start out okay, but then fizzles… Hope you finish your sweater soon!

I need a captivating read too. I hate when a book doesn’t grab me. Your sweater is progressing beautifully. I hope you get more time to knit your little heart out!!
